Trust System for Sellers

Sendit introduces a “Progressive Trust System” to keep everyone honest and safe.

• Start Fresh, Build Reputation: When new sellers join, they start at the lowest level. Over time, as they make sales and earn good reviews, they can level up. It’s like a video game: complete quests (sales), earn points (trust), and advance to higher ranks. Each higher level unlocks perks like higher sales limits, more visibility, and advanced tools.

• On-Chain Reviews: Buyers can leave reviews for products they bought, and these reviews are recorded on the blockchain. This means the feedback is permanent and transparent. Good reviews boost a seller’s trust, while genuine issues can be flagged by the community.

• Token Staking to Accelerate: If a seller wants to speed up this process, they can stake Sendit tokens. By locking some tokens, a seller can jump ahead to a higher verification level immediately. It’s like paying a deposit for instant trust. This gives honest sellers a way to stand out faster.

• Penalties for Misbehavior: If a seller breaks the rules (for example, listing fraudulent products or scamming buyers), they face consequences. First they get warnings and “strikes”; after 3 strikes, an account can be blacklisted. Also, any tokens they staked can be slashed (taken away) as punishment. This discourages bad actors – nobody wants to lose their tokens or reputation.

• Fairness Over Geography: Instead of barring people by country, Sendit’s system looks at behavior. If you sell regularly and honestly, you rise in rank. If you vanish for 30 days, your rank might reset. It’s a merit-based approach.
